About NIC-FTD

We are the Neuropsychiatric Consortium for Frontotemporal dementia (NIC-FTD), an international collaborative initiative established to advance the field of neurodenerative research. Our consortium unites researchers, clinicians, and experts from around the world with a shared focus: Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and its complex interplay with psychiatric diseases. Co-directed by Prof. Dr. S. Ducharme (Canada) and Prof. Dr. Y.A.L. Pijnenburg (the Netherlands), this consortium strives to improve diagnostic accuracy of distinguishing FTD from psychiatric diseases and determine the best recommended clinical practice.
